James Wiggins
I am James Wiggins the Area Coordinator of Health, Lifetime Fitness, and Wellness at LeMoyne Owen College. I am a man that is driven by the love of God. God is where I turn when this world becomes too heavy to carry and his love allows me to smile in the face of uncertainty. I was created to be a great leader. I will use what I learn to be a dynamic leader that inspires teachers instead of criticizing them. A bad leader uses his people to lift himself up, but a great leader uses himself to lift his people up. I have a B.S. from Mississippi Valley State University, M.A.T. and a M.A. of Kinesiology from Harding University. I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Education and Administration Leadership at Harding University in Searcy Arkansas. I am reestablishing the B.S. for physical education at LeMoyne Owen for the fall of 2022. I plan to complete my Ph. D. by 2024 and seek a provost or vice president position in higher education. I will, however, consider a deputy superintendent or superintendent position if it is presented to me.
