Accreditation & Consumer Information

The Division of Education at LeMoyne-Owen College is accredited based on the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) {www.ncate.org} standards, through the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) as an education preparation provider (EPP). Formed in 2013, CAEP is the single specialized accreditor for educator preparation and administers NCATE  accreditation.  

The accreditation covers initial teacher preparation programs, licensure, and services at LeMoyne-Owen College.
