Clarence Christian ’68, 2022 Annual Fund Campaign Chairperson

Alumnus Clarence Christian ’68, a former faculty/administrator, longtime college supporter, campus volunteer, decorated educator, community activist and emeritus professor of sociology with the Tennessee Board of Regents, has been chosen as the Annual Fund Campaign Volunteer Chair for 2022 (July 2021 – June 2022).

Pointing to a bald cypress he planted on the lawn in 2012, he says, “My commitment to my alma mater is as deep as the roots of that tree, and I’ll continue to do my part to help preserve her legacy and to ensure her future.”
