LeMoyne-Owen College Launches Online Payment Portal

Memphis, TN – LeMoyne-Owen College is pleased to announce online payment options for tuition and fees, housing, and registration for students. This roll out comes just as students are registering and validating for the spring 2021 semester. The Information Technology team has been working hard, along with Fiscal staff members and ACI Universal Payments, to provide a secure online method for students and families to pay tuition and fees without having to come to the school during the pandemic.

“This is an exciting time as we move LOC into the 21st century with online payments,” states LOC Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer, Charles Elliott. Early in the pandemic, improving technology became a focus for the IT team as they pivoted quickly to meet student, faculty, and staff needs. The summer months brought additional challenges as students registered for summer and fall classes but had to come to campus to pay their tuition, fees, and housing deposits. The new online payment gateway will alleviate pressure on students, parents, and fiscal staff as the spring 2021 semester begins during the ongoing pandemic.

The online payment gateway is currently available inside the MyLOC portal as part of the registration and validation process. LOC Online Payments Credit and debit cards are accepted as forms of payment. This is just one of the ways Elliott and his team are working to revamp the College’s technology to ensure efficiency and better customer service for current and prospective students and families.
