Dr. Mohammed Uddin garners his third Fulbright U.S. Scholar honor
Dr. Mohammed Uddin, a professor of Biology at LeMoyne-Owen College, has been selected as a Fulbright U.S. Scholar for 2019.
The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program offers U.S. faculty, administrators and professionals grants to lecture, and/or conduct research in a wide variety of academic and professional fields, or to participate in seminars.
It was the third time Dr. Uddin has garnered the honor. He was selected as a Fulbright U.S. Scholar in 2011 and 2016. He served both of those scholarships in the People's Republic of Bangladesh, where he was born.
He will serve his 2019 scholarship at The University of the West Indies in Jamaica.
