Enrollment has nearly doubled in the past six years and more students than ever are living on campus. To meet this growing demand, LeMoyne-Owen College embarked upon its first major construction project in more than 40 years when officials broke ground on a 336-bed residence hall Sept. 20, 2012, at the corner of Neptune and Saxon.
When the new residence hall opens this fall for the 2013-2014 academic year, on-campus housing capacity will nearly double.
