Q: How do I get an Alumni Membership Card?

A: You can join the Alumni Association for an annual fee of $30.00 and a lifetime membership fee of $500; payable over a two- year period. Contact the office of Alumni Relations for more information (901) 435-1530.

Q: How do I obtain an official transcript?

A: You may contact the Office of the Registrar at (901) 435-1701 and submit a letter with the following information:

Full Name, Address, and Social Security Number
Dates of Attendance or Year of Graduation
Daytime Phone Number

If you are requesting an unofficial transcript, please provide business or institution addresses where the transcript should be sent. Official transcripts may not be sent to a home address. Transcripts are $5.00 each. Please send a money order or cashier's check made out to LeMoyne-Owen College with your written request for the transcript. Plan to allow 5-8 business days to process your request. At this time, the Registrar's Office does not accept requests by electronic mail.

Q. I lost my diploma and need another copy. How can I get another one?

A: The Office of the Registrar is where you can obtain another copy of your diploma. A letter must be sent with the following information:
Full Name, Address, and Social Security Number
Class Year and Major
A money order or cashier's check made out to The LeMoyne-Owen College in the amount of $25.00 must accompany the letter. Please plan to allow at least four to six weeks to process and send out the replacement diploma.

Q: I just moved and need to update my information. How can I do that?

A: You can e-mail the Office of Alumni Affairs at Frankie_Jeffries@loc.edu or fax us at (901) 435-1530. You can mail the information to:

Q: How do I inform the Office of Alumni Affairs of the death of an Alumnus?

A: You may contact us at (901) 435-1530 or e-mail us at Frankie_Jeffries@loc.edu or send information to the above address. Please provide the following information:
Name of the person deceased
Date of death
Class Year the deceased
Address and telephone number of the family of the deceased
Your name and telephone number
If possible, please provide a copy of the obituary or memorial program.

Q: Can Alumni Affairs assist me in contacting old classmates?

A: The Office of Alumni Affairs is not able to process a request to contact Alumni over the telephone. We would, however, be happy to accept your contact information [name, address, telephone numbers and e-mail address], and contact the Alumnus you are seeking. Your information would be provided to the person you want to contact, and he or she would make the decision to contact you. Sometimes this process may take a while.
