The Celebrity Sports Breakfast hosted by former NBA Player Elliot Perry annually gives over 600 children and adults from around the Mid-South an opportunity to interact with a variety of sports celebrities and enjoy a wonderful breakfast.

ABOUT ELLIOT PERRY
Elliot Lamonte Perry is a native Memphian and retired NBA basketball player known for his tall white socks, quick feet, and slashing offensive game. As one of Memphis State University’s most talented and beloved players, the Los Angeles Clippers selected the 6’0” point guard as the 10th pick of the second round (38th overall) in the 1991 NBA Draft. Perry played ten games in 1991-92 for the Clippers before being waived and subsequently signed for the rest of the season by the Charlotte Hornets. He then moved on to the Continental Basketball Association for two years before returning to the NBA, most notably with the Phoenix Suns where in 1994-95 he was voted runner-up as the NBA’s Most Improved Player.
He rounded out his NBA career in 2001-02 with his hometown Memphis Grizzlies. He later worked for the organization as the Grizzlies’ radio broadcast color commentator during the 2006-07 NBA season.
