On-Campus Recruitment (informational or interviews) - Informational-Companies can at anytime come and take up applications, talk to students about job opportunities and display their information in the student center. Interviews - Companies can come and interview students for positions at their companies in the Career Services office other rooms across the campus.
Workshop Series - Human Resource Representatives visit the classrooms and facilitate career -related topics.
Freshman Seminar Mock Interviews/Preparatory Workshops - Freshmen attend a series of career development workshops to prepare them for mock interviews given by company representatives across the city. This two semester project is 40% of their grade.
Black Executive Exchange Program (BEEP) - African-American executives from across the country visit historically black colleges and universities to mentor and interview students for possible internships and positions and share their experiences of climbing the corporate ladder. This event is sponsored the National Urban League of New York.
BEEP Conference (Various Cities) - After the conclusion of the BEEP visits across the country, BEEPers gather every June for a conference which includes seminars, luncheons, receptions, entertainment, forums, career fairs and a student leadership institute. In the past, United Parcel Service sponsored two students from LeMoyne-Owen College every year. Currently, the National Urban League, along with other companies, sponsors students to attend the conference to interview with compaines at the conference for Manager Trainee Positions.
In 2005, LeMoyne-Owen College won 1st place at the National Student Case Study Competition and their Director, Dr. Denita Hedgeman won "Best Campus Liaison" Award.
Seniors On - Campus Recruitment - Companies and graduate schools participate in a two day activity to facilitate workshops and to interview for entry-level positions for graduating seniors.
Jostens - Graduating Seniors order graduation caps and gowns, class rings and announcements.
