POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Circulation/Reference Librarian will plan,
organize, and supervise the activities of the Circulation and Reference
area. He/she will assist library patrons in the use of library
services, interpret library policies, bibliographic instruction,
information literacy, train and assist in computerized circulation
functions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide an environment that is conducive to
productive teaching and learning.
Teach library research skills. Maintain the Vertical and Microform
files. Participate in long range planning of library
services. Maintain circulation data and prepare regular
statistical reports. Identifies catalog errors. Maintain
membership in professional organizations to ensure professional
development. Assist in grant writing for the enhancement of
library operations and services. Require some evenings and
weekend hours. Perform other duties as assigned. To support,
enforce, and abide by the policies and procedures of the College.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The Circulation and Reference Librarian must have
an earned Master’s degree (MLS) from an ALA- accredited
institution; a minimum of 3 years experience in library control work
and library instruction. Experience and knowledge of current
practices and trends in managing electronic resources. Knowledge
of integrated library systems.

JOB OVERVIEW:
The Manager of Financial Reporting and Internal Controls is responsible
for all accounting and financial reporting for assigned departments or
divisions of the College. In addition, the Manager of Financial
Reporting and Internal Controls works closely with the Controller and
Chief Financial Officer on assigned projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Review and
update accounting
procedures and internal controls.
Prepare monthly, quarterly,
annual and such other
financial statements and statistical reports as may be required.
Assist in the development of
the budget and Prepare
budget to actual reports.
Perform analysis of revenue and
expense accounts as
needed.
Work closely with the external
auditors to provide
requested information and reply to questions.
Review and monitor all
accounting and OMB A-133
compliance requirements.
Perform operational
reviews/audits.
Perform other duties as

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor degree in Business Administration or
Accounting/Finance, with two to three years accounting or audit
experience, preferably with fund accounting experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Must be extremely proficient and knowledgeable of
computerized fund accounting software (preferably MAS 90 or similar,
such as Great Plains), and must be proficient in the use of spreadsheet
and word processing software in Windows environment. Must have the
ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal), possess
excellent analytical skills and ability to work in a deadline driven
environment, manage multiple assignments and be an effective problem
solver, familiarity with OMB regulations preferred; and the ability to
excel in a close, team-oriented environment.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under supervision of the Controller, the Payroll/General Ledger
Accountant will perform a variety of payroll-related functions, general
ledger account analysis, budget-to-actual reporting, and other
accounting duties as assigned.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Demonstrates a constructive and cooperative working relationship when
communicating with faculty, staff, students, and third parties.
Receives personnel action forms, timesheets,
contracts,
and other relevant data in order to account for and track salary owed
each employee per pay period.
Compiles, verifies, computes, enters, and
reconciles
payroll data to ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll
checks.
Provides source documentation to Controller for
review
and approval prior to transmission of payroll data.
Provides statistical reports and payroll
exception
reports to Controller after processing of payroll data but before
actual payroll checks and direct deposits are generated.
Assists designated employee, as needed, in the
distribution of paychecks and payroll vouchers.
Issues and records approved adjustments to pay
due to
previous errors or retroactive increases.
Prepares periodic reports of payroll earnings,
taxes,
and deductions.
Keeps informed about changes in wage, tax, and
deduction
laws that apply to the payroll process.
Maintains and processes, as needed, forms and
documentation for administration of benefits, including
retirement plan, workers’ compensation, and medical, life, and
disability insurance.
Safeguards the integrity and confidentiality of
payroll-related data.
Secures and accounts for all unprocessed payroll
checks,
including voided and returned checks.
Maintains, analyzes, and reconciles assigned
general
ledger accounts on monthly basis for review and approval by Controller.
Performs budget-to-actual analysis, detailing
monthly
and year-to-date budget variance amounts and percentages, as well as
available remaining line item budgets by cost center.
Maintains payroll records, reconciliation
reports, and
analysis paperwork in an organized, readily accessible manner.
Performs other projects and duties as assigned by
Controller.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor degree in Business Administration with concentration in
Accounting preferred, coupled with minimum of three years payroll
experience using ADP and practical accounting skills. An
equivalent combination of education and strong accounting experience
may be considered.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of payroll laws and procedures.
Proficient in utilizing computer software such as Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with automated payroll processing database.
Ability to exercise sound judgment in making recommendations and
decisions.
Detail-oriented and willing to perform multiple tasks accurately and
expeditiously.
Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information.
