The Teaching and Learning Center is an academic resource center for The LeMoyne-Owen College students. The Center offers students basic skills support in reading, writing, math and the sciences, as well as fosters advanced enhancement within students’ chosen academic disciplines. The Center’s programs and schedules are designed to meet students’ various scheduling needs. Learning specialists, peer tutors, and volunteer faculty offer tutorials for individuals and small groups. The Center is equipped with 22 computers that aid in instruction and completion of assignments . Workshops on various topics are offered throughout the semester. Students may seek the Center’s services on their own or be referred by faculty.
This service is free to all currently enrolled The LeMoyne-Owen College students.
