Grant to Strengthen K-8 Math Instruction in Tennessee
Tennessee State University and ETS to Partner on Project

Tennessee State University (TSU) and Educational Testing Services (ETS) have been awarded funding to work with Historically Black Colleges, including LeMoyne-Owen College, and Universities (HBCUs) in Tennessee to improve elementary and middle school teaching and learning of mathematics. LeMoyne-Owen College was selected along with its partner school, Cummings Elementary and West Elementary and Middle schools, to participate in this project.  The major focus is on professional development, leadership development, ongoing assessment of students through the ETS Math Challenges, and establishing professional learning community processes in the partner schools.
