Congressional Internship Opportunities Available
Students are invited to gain valuable experience in the world of politics as an intern in Congressman Steve Cohen’s (D-TN) Memphis and Washington, D.C. offices. This is an academic internship. No stipend is provided. Academic credit does apply. Successful candidates will have strong writing skills and the ability to articulate their ties to Memphis and their interest level in legislative issues, history and public policy. All applicants must submit a resume, cover letter, and writing samples no later than three (3) three months ahead of the term in which they want to intern. For example, those who want to intern during the summer, must have their application in no later than March 1; those for the fall term, must submit by June 1; and, those for the spring term by October 1.

Independent Filmmaking Internships Available: APPLICATION DEADLINE IS FEB. 4TH!
Attention LeMoyne-Owen College students, especially those in the Division of Liberal Arts and Humanities: Real world experience in independent filmmaking may be gained through an internship with the award-winning producers of the film “Free in Deed”, currently in pre-production. Positions available include: Production Office/Business, Art Department, Camera, Sound Department, Set P.A.'s and Assistant to Producer.
